“First half started with a very surprising tactic as one of the chaos spawn got the ball (touchback) and charged straight ahead. The horrors weren't quite sure what to make of this thundering giant at first but then it appeared that none of the halflings followed the ball!
Catahorror got the ball on the ground and it seemed like it going to be a very difficult half for the Barrows. They did manage to recover the ball and gradually get it towards the other side of the pitch (lateral) but there they lost possession again and a small lone horror got it and ran as fast as its horribly mutated legs could carry it. He managed to score on t8 and got the mvp for that as well.
As that was the only action that actually merited the mp in the entire game I'd say that the committee choose well today.
Our offence in the second half was in shambles after two turns thanks to the halflings smothering the los. From then on we were simply trying to keep the ball. Eventually we threw Black Death towards the endzone but he botched his landing. Luckily, the ball was too far away and we cruised towards our victory while being savagely beaten by the halflings. I'd like to imagine that the warm, fuzzy feeling of victory helped a bit against the pain my guys were having then, but I'm not sure.
Cheers to Khysanth, was a fun match, and it didn't really feel that the tv difference made a big impact. Although Logan wasn't all that useful.”
