“The Ogres were twitching at the thought of facing clawpombers while the snots thought they might have a chance to do something useful against those not skilled at tackling. However the snots were smashed out of this match in droves. We blitzed forward and Haystacks stunned a foul Nurgle Warrior. With a vicious response two snots were piled on and had to be taken off while a fouler ko'd another. Kendo and Haystacks burst through the line but the agile Morthag bypassed them easily. We were then bashed up and despite a bit of snot hassling in vain a Pestigor comfortably scored in turn 8. Only Haystacks and Kendo were left on the pitch for the Wrestlers! One ankle smashing by Giant Haystacks was our only real highlight that half. We ko'd a couple of players in the final moments but they recovered well for the next.
After a stray kick Haystacks took the ball on the LOS. He burst through the opposition and went down the flank with fragile snot cover while the remaining 2 Ogres stood dumb in the centre. The Slime Barons didn't quite cover enough and a Warrior slipt so this allowed Haystacks to charge into the endzone. It was then 9 v 8 but again after kicking 3 snots were taken off the pitch. Kendo's dumbfoundedness didn't help and in the end our chance to draw came down to either Haystacks needing a tough dodge to take down the Beastman carrier or for the thing to fail a dodge itself. Neither happened so we were defeated again. But it was a fun 2nd half.
