Nelphine got it pretty much right, although he failed to mention the far most important element in the episode, which was the rolling of Skull/Skull against the lineman needed to make the pass. Absolutely any other result would have put it the rest of the endeavor beyond reality.

By coaching poorly (and trust me, it was POOR), and by getting many a bad die roll, I lured cameronhawkins into that super dangerous place!
Yes, he passed the ball successfully to his stat freak blitzer on turn 5 of the second half (he was winning 1-0) with no one in reasonable blitzing range!
Unfortunately, a gfi blitz on a goblin cleared a path for.. my S6 tentacle TROLL! to make 2 gfi's and put a tackle zone on the stat freak! Otyugh EAT! Otyugh badly hurt the blitzer. Then a rookie lineman grabbed the ball (3+ dodge 3+ pick up) and passed (4+) to my rookie thrower who had also dodged (3+) and caught the ball (3+)!!
Remember: If Nuffle has cursed your opponent, your opponent has given up chasing the ball, and your opponent was lousy in the second half, it really is a PLOY so that rookie non elven players can move the ball 25 squares down the field in 1 turn!
