“This was yet another match against the hated Cwarf clawpombers although one of their two claw players were out injured. Early on the Dizzle Cwarfs made risky blocks but were getting away with them. They crowded around us and traded blows and Lucan had to move back with his snot cover. A Centaur got around and took him out of the drive so Mrs Bucket took the ball over midway and behind some Ogres. As the Cwarfs came into the middle the snot and two others raced through. A couple of players came after him and tried to grab him but he dodged away into the endzone and...fell over! Last yard of the pitch. Massive failure. Then a Centaur came over, fouled him and in another important moment was allowed by the ref to continue.
Second half the Cwarfs hit hard and the Ogres weren't quite up to it anymore. We hampered them for a few turns but players were dropping out too quick and a Bull Centaur stalled in for the winning td.
We then had a ttm attempt helped with quick snap but Big Daddy made a pathetic weak throw so even Lucan's sprinting wouldn't have got him to the endzone. Disappointing nearly match with a 1-0 loss for the Wrestlers. There were a few surfs this match so the crowd had something to enjoy.”
