Sadly I failed to secure victory, failing to take advantage of my 1st half fortunes where the wizard and bad play by Pirigin set up 1-0. It was nearly 2-0 but an experienced blitzer managed to haul down the freak wolf and knock it out; the elves recovered for 1-1. In the midst of the action, both +ST elves lay broken on the floor. They'll recover but will be more fragile (-AV).

With my legend wolf failing to return over 3 KO rolls, I was vulnerable to the leaping strip baller who performed admirably. I failed to make numbers pay and the ref was bored of the fouls, sending off the offending zombies at critical points. I then pushed the sidestepper within scoring range (d'oh) and he scored. Talk about self inflicted! Whilst we did fight back for a draw, it was an opportunity for victory lost.

A crazy seesaw game! Pirigin played much better 2nd half with his back against the wall. At least we left our mark.”
