As the Cult of Moon set sail for Ryder's Cove, home of the humans who taught them this game, they reflected back on their defeat at the hands of the frogs. It was tough leaving their sheltered rock but the victorious toads had blocked their passage back up the mountain. The clans would be fine. They had Padma now, their new leader. By the time the team returns she will have reached an age and be able to take her place on the team. These were exciting times!
This tournament was a chance to really test themselves. They had been struggling in Saarth, the opposition was scarce and the frogs had been swimming off all over the place, playing all manner of opponents and returned with a giant sea lizard to beat down on them! Moon still pushed them close, but it became a war of attrition late in the match and the elves' flimsy frames couldn't stand up to the power of the slann. Reduced to just 5 players The Swallowers had an easy time running in the score.
But they had learned. With each game came experience and learning about this game so new to them. Abhaya this time took all the praise, scoring a touchdown and proving worthy of his selecion as best player. They toasted in his name as they sailed south out of the chilly waters towards a much more temperate climate.
Rakesh:We must learn from this. We are uninjured, but defeated. It does not sit well with me. The messenger Eldril has gone, taking his empty promises with him. MandaraWith each game we grow Rakesh.
