Nearing their home in Norsca, the Warriors of Valhalla Thirteen came across a ravenous group of zombies on the outskirts of Kislev. But these were no ordinary zombies, being led by 2 ancient and very large mounds of reincarnated flesh, and a fierce battle ensued that claimed many lives. The Necromancer leading the Darkbones of Schmerztal was on his game and kept patching up corpses so they could retake the pitch. Only Sarah Kane was unable to return, with Iltrithtith Fairtracker the only player the referee ejected. A lopsided foul battle, with the aid of bribes on the opening kickoff, really punished the Warriors. But Valhalla Thirteen remained undaunted throughout and came away with the victory, even if they did end the game with only three Warriors on the pitch and one in the KO dugout (8 players in the CAS boxes, including 2 RIPs and 1 MNG). The team honored Herger the Joyous with the MVP, so that he can go into the afterlife with his third skill (and of course mead and wenches). Edgtho steps up to become the squad's new PoMber.
Valhalla Thirteen thanks Schmerztal Darkbones for the honor of a hard fought match.
Today was a good day. A good day.”
