“A hard fought draw!

Plan went ok at the start, pressuring the elves to score early. Then disaster struck in form of a missed pass, thrown in just before the feet of a waiting elf who without much problems picked up, passed, handed over and GFI to score 2-0.

Second half we shifted gear and went for the 3-2 victory, risks were taken and they quickly payed off - ball was stripped from a wolf, landed on the ground, failed pickup by an elf, caught by a golem, stripped again - caught by a ghoul - score!

Kickoff to the elves that advanced along the south line, got pushed up against it and pushed into the crowd! A desperate dodge and finally Rip's Diving Tackle started to pay off! A turnover allowed a blitz on the thrower, a takedown, pickup and SCORE 2-2!

The threat of Rip's Diving Tackle on the carrier, and a failed dodge elsewhere stopped the otherwise tight (if somewhat outnumbered) elven advance and the Draw was a fact!

Fun game, where we had some serious catching up to do, and even if we didn't manage to do it all the way to the win I'm satisfied with the draw.
