“This week's top match saw two unbeaten and to Karaz Angkor foreign teams, the Karaz Highland Raiders and Karaz Angkor Immigrants. The Immigrants, victorious in their last two matches, had payed the price and were down in numbers, depending on unexperienced mercenaries for support.
In view of this, the Raiders went optimistically into the match. And were surprised by the strong defense. Expect one early casualty, the Immigrants showed remarkable resistance towards all forms of violence applied the Raiders, and repeatedly broke into the cage to base the Orc ball carrier. A final attempt to break away was cancelled by the Humans, and the Orcs were lucky that the last minute counter move failed when Mercenary Catcher One refused to pickup the ball.
Things then turned in second half. The Immigrants, eager to score quickly, pushed forward, but were soon stopped by a massive green wall. In a dramatic twist, the Raider managed to crowd surf one Immigrant and knock out another one. Even worse, Hildebrand De Palma, sent by Quarterback Hayden Taron on the far right, succumbed to the pressure and fumbled the catch. The Raiders did not let that chance pass, hit Hayden heavily on the head and secured the ball. Hildebrand's desperate try to make good for his mistake failed, when he tripped in the last seconds of the game to prevent Lorgor Heartripper from scoring.
