We received with Lucan picking up and a Norsemen being ko'd. Then both sides suffered sending offs as the ref wasn't putting up with funny business. Jim Breaks cleared a space and Lucan sprinted up the pitch with other snots screening. Jim Breaks piled on and hurt Asbjorn and titchy Lucan just squeezed through the gap between a beserker and the sidelines to get a td.
After a kick to the side Hjolf fumbled the ball. Snots tried to hassle him but one was pushed over the ball which spilled into the crowd. A fan threw it back into space in our half and Jorg the runner snapped it up. Meanwhile Kendo with help from Les laid a great blow on the Snow Troll and took it out of the match. Snots and Ogres then tried to get a hold of the runner but he was too dodgy and snots were being picked off. He got away and made the equalizer.
There was not much success with trying a ttm td but the Ogres did bash out some more Norsemen. Second half they were receiving but down to 7 with their tacklers, troll and dirty players out. Still we knew Ogres can always screw up so weren't overconfident. They started with Hjolf picking up. We charged forward but he got away and some snots were taken out. It seemed for a moment that they had passed our main defence again when hjolf dodged from Kendo but he couldn't pull off a hand off. Jim Breaks then charged in to save the day but fell! Jorg then picked up for the Norse but..fell! The Maladan's coach was shocked as the Ogres, especially Big Daddy, then furiously caused carnage. It was a mess in the end with one Norseman left cowering when Lucan crossed the line for the winner.”
