“Brad suffered a niggling injury the last time these two sides met. As he stole the ball to set up 2-0, he was caught by the side and shoved into the crowd right into the lap of an ogre wearing a "Hands of Magic" T-shirt. The creature screamed, "I RUV YOU BRAD!" then hugged him so hard his neck broke, bringing an end to the super star's career.

The game itself was a bit strange as Coach Jan-Erik only really attempted to tease out the wizard for 1 turn, then abandoned his thro-ra to a lightening bolt. When a blitz then seriously injured the legend blitz-ra, it looked good for the Devils. It turned out to be a bit rougher than that but the result was never in jeopardy.

Rumours of match fixing were circulating afterwards, likely from Coach Jan-Erik himself who wanted to deflect blame for a 2nd heavy defeat by humans on a Khemri team that has an otherwise decent record.”
