1st half, it was all Dwarves, as we executed a textbook 8 turn score--and I only had to stall one turn. Unfortunately, though we got the rats off the pitch (to the tune of 6 KO's), there were no casualties, and 5 of the 6 recovered on the turn 8 KO. The skaven set up for a OTS, even got a quick snap..but the 1st block was skull/skull..halftime!
2nd half, I delayed the Rats long enough to force OT, as they scored on turn 8 as well.
OT, I got 3/4th of the way down the pitch with the ball, but got tied up and despite getting some Rats off the pitch, I could not keep the ball away. Eventually, Caober got the ball out and raced down field and the sluggish dwarves could not catch up.
Very good game, close and really could have gone either way down till the end.
No permanent injuries at the least. Junior SayOw learns a bit by playing these rats and gets +1 AG.
Oh, the game was played in the Pouring rain, and to my recollection, no one failed to pickup/catch the ball (maybe once)”
