Season 2, Game 5*

The early part of this game looked grim for the Maniorx. A deep kick and a fumbled pickup-attempt allowed Ripper and some goblins to swarm the backfield. Druck recovered and passed to Wrecker Hogans, who had to keep blitzing and/or dodging free of pesky little gobbos. Nobbla was playing safety and we couldn't reach him, but when he finally got his shot at the ball he got so excited he tripped over his own feet. The lightning bolt did what Nobbla couldn't, and Wrecker was denied his chance to score (and skill). After a bit of nip and tuck, Druck got the ball back but was hounded all the way to the endzone on turn 8. Phew, he made it. Twiggy convinced Coach dabassman to spend both bribes to keep Nobbla around (the first failed), but Nobbla was snacking on beer, hotdogs and pretzels that Rizza Bombdog had hoarded in the dugout and never returned. Several other PropellaHeadz joined him. Ripper tried to eat 2 goblins, killing one and hurting another. Seriously, I saw it! He claims he 'fumbled' the TTM attempt, but I know better. Once the Maniorx got the ball loose in the 2nd half they were able to secure for the win. Crash Cooper contributed 5 beautiful fouls (including the KO on Nobbla) before getting ejected. He is really pushing for the season fouling champ.
