The elf inducements proved to be potent, and kept the match close all the way into overtime. The frogs looked confident going in, but were shaken up right from the start as Morg started grabing heads and knocking them together. Back and forth ball action and some risky frog blocking (the fans were calling for elves... and the hoppers wanted to oblige!) created a close game.

Scores were traded all the way into the second half, when the illustrious coach of Hop on Pop decided to score early to get some "extra training" in for the boys. Up 2-1 and with good numbers, it almost worked perfectly as the frogs blitzed in to catch the kickoff - but Jordell Freshbreeze gave the hoppers a taste of their own medicine - leaping in to knock the ball out and into range of a pickup. The elves swooped in and... passed to Morg! Morg continued his all-star performance by rushing down the field, only to be stripped of the ball by a risky -2d block, but the frogs can't recover and the elves manage to equalize to bring the game to overtime.

Here, not even Morg could save the day, as the frogs win the toss and proceed to pitch clear the elves, and eventually even Morg himself is fouled off before Leela walked in the game winning touchdown.
