The underworld slaughtered us first half. Armour breaking left and right and dorfs flying off the pitch. The ball was never safe and only the ferocity of the attack left a small hole the dorfs could bug out through. Any semblance of defence was nullified by the 2 KO fails allied to 2 cas from kick off LOS blocks. even then an opponent fail left some defence looking possible but skulls killed that.
Second half the Dorfs were reborn. Some desperate GFIing paid off and while the attack moved around a lot, so did the defence, and the Underworld were hemmed in and forced back. The turnover was a long time coming, and some key pick up fails left us needing an immensely lucky last turn. Nuffle provided and an incredibly tight and vicous little game ended 2-1.
I am left imagining the rematch when they each have some proper kill skills.”
