#12 Tom Thumb – Broken Neck (-AG)
We came up against a much higher rated Human side but gave them a run for their money in a high scoring, hard hitting match.
We started off with a ttm td (Les threw Lucan) and the humans responded quick through Lola. We scored another ttm td after Lucan was first thrown short, had to retreat, and was thrown again. Then despite a long kick Lola was pushed forward and got an amazing one turn td. The snots titchy efforts didn't quite disrupt him enough. During the half we lost a few snots but also took out some key human hitters to keep us well in the game.
Alas the key moments for our defeat came early in the second half. There was a great short kick to our weak side which eventually lead to Lucan being poorly protected and a blitzer dodge in to take him down. A catcher picked up and handed off the ball to the blitzer in tackle zones and just as we were about to blitz back we had a bonehead for 1 Ogre followed by a quad skulls for Haystacks! He let us down after what was otherwise an awesome display from him. The humies scored though a riot from the excitement hungry fans gave us an extra turn against the outnumbered side. However at 2tds down we were sure to lose. Jim and Haystacks kept hitting hard and eventually Lucan got the ball to Les for our 3rd td. The Ogres were glad of the extra apothecary hired today as both Lucan and Big Daddy needed extra treatment. Fun match!

#8 Lescot Jinx – Smashed Hand (MNG)
First time facing ogres with humans in the box and it's at the top of the team value chart, guess there's always room for 1 more surprise. :D

Both teams played to their best for most of the match, not least shown by the amount of turns the Wrestlers didn't even have to use any of their team re-rolls but alas in the end they failed hard at the worst possible moment and the Wolves sealed the match with cold blooded efficiency.

Crazy fun match, and cheers Gary for keeping the ogre spirit alive!
