“"Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them. In the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live ...forever."
After many hard battles and seemingly pointless wanderings, the Valhalla Thirteen are reunited again. A tough fight with a Circus composed of northern marauders and chaos rejects, the northmen warriors and their Araby ally were able to overcome this motley horde and hold on to a victory. It has been a while since we tasted victory. Edgtho lived up to his namesake after a single block that resulted in a CAS. A well placed boot left him silent in the KO box the rest of the match. Brian Grottylightning (aka Roneth the Horseman IV) preceded Edgtho with a quick trip to the BH box also after only a single block. But the warriors of Valhalla answered block for block, foul for foul and CAS for CAS as they followed the inspiring leadership of Buliwyf and the examples of Halga and Herger. The crowd loved Ibn so much they crowned him MVP.
Today was a good day, a good day. We shall feast well tonight!
Notes: #3 Hyglak the Quarrelsome II was #18 David Clearspike, #7 Roneth the Horseman IV was #17 Brian Grottylightning”
