“It had been a long time since Coach Kondor had put one of his teams on the field. But as he looked at the possible offers for a match he saw a name that had bested him twice in the past. In the Box Kondor had twice drawn the name of Purple Chest, and had twice fallen in defeat. Never one to shy away from a challenge, he jumped head first.

The Purple Delvers would face Mystery Inc.

Scooby and the gang had watched the previous matches and to be fank, Fred saw Scooby wet himself.(or maby it was Shaggy)

In either case, the Delvers took the kick off and immediately ran into problems. Inside of two turns, a loner lineman Jack was dead, and the star blitzer was nursing a sprained shoulder. From there on out it would be an uphill battle as the Delvers found themselves outnumbered for the remainder of the match. Sure they managed to kill Daphne near the end of the half, but by that time the Phantom Diver had stolen broken free with the ball. He would go on to score before the half.

The second half went similarly. A fan started the fun by knocking out yet another dwarf for the remainder of the game. Purple Chest pushed his stunted ones to their limits but luck was not with them. They would soon cough up the ball, and before the end of the game, the Diver would score again.

When the match ended, Kondor thanked Purple Chest for the match. Without a doubt they would do this dance again.
