“An undermanned Rebels side played a hard game against this fresh Amazon team. Deep pressure on the Amazon backfield prevented the Amazons from scoring until late in the first half, but at a cost: 3 Rebels were knocked out and one was badly hurt. One ko would not recover for the rest of the game, the other two would not return in the first half. The two vicious casualties inflicted by the Dark Elves were good though.

In the second half, the Amazons overwhelmed the outnumbered Rebels, but a brilliant play along the sidelines saw Frost lay a heavy hit on one of two Amazons standing over Bandersnatch, who then leaped to his feet, picked up the ball, dodge away and complete a pass to Wedge Rock who was tied up by another Amazonian player. Wedge somehow caught the ball despite interference, and dodged away to run for the Rebels' only score of the game. There was nothing to be done the rest of the half though as the superior numbers of the Amazons were clearly enough to score a final TD and ensure the win.”
