“By all rights this game should have been a bloodbath but it was pretty much the opposite. How the boys managed to get away from this match with out a perm (and without even using an apo) this coach will never know. Down to 7 players after turn 1 and with Simon hitting 4 ones in the first 5 turns it was looking like a certain score and possible carnage but the strigs took pity and left their kid gloves on and we managed to force a score. Terrible KO dice (1 from 6 -> saw -> banned) meant we had little chance to score in the first half but some of the usual heroics from the scrawny one managed to equalise quick to get some player back at 1 apiece with a few turns left.
A bad kick left Vlad with a score he made a meal of thanks to blocking off his food supply and the scrawny one almost managed another unlikely TD but was taken down by the chief within scoring distance.
Only Louis and the Scrawny one came away with any pride although Simon killed a legend Count in T8 but the apo saved his ass.
The boys will be sharpening their claws/blades for the rematch!

In 2nd half opposing guys did better and scored the equalizer, but then their kick went outta the field and ball was in the fearsome claws of the Sommelier, game over. He almost ruined everything failing on knockin down a guy in a blitz, but he dodged and scored, then he avoided the 2nd opposing TD. Fans went home disappointed: they had come to see blood and violence, but the teams respected each other too much and seemed more focused on winning than killing. A rematch is gonna happen soon.
