“A truly entertaining game right up to the last play. Started with a good Daggerz drive with the weapons returning well after a 3 game dry spell. Buzz Kickback delivered after a lean run and cleared some of the Butchers from the pitch. The opening came and Branislav Bounce capitalised with the opening score. The Butchers re-gathered themselves and hit back with excellent positional play and the Skaven contingent demonstrating excellent ball handling skills and agility. Da Daggerz kept hammering away at the home side and kept the Butchers apo in business.

The second half saw another nice score from the home team with the Skaven blitzing and dodging to what looked like the decisive score. The last drive for the Daggerz saw the home coach block up the drive well which resulted in the ball carrier having to break away and switch to the opposite side of the pitch. This was the opening the Butchers were waiting for. A blitz on the ball carrier and a ball that it seemed no one wanted, was eventually scooped up and run away by a Skaven blitzer. The game clock looked to be running down...... Then Bop gathered his senses and blitzed the unsuspecting skaven. The ball popped loose and to the surprise of all spectators and coaches, the Daggerz scooped up, ran the ball and hurled it into the air. The hero was Burty, who had been hanging around near the Butcher's endzone for most of the 2nd half. Incredibly he reached up and caught the ball!!!! He walked over for the final action of a entertaining match!

A really enjoyable game that swung from one side to the other! On the balance of play the home team coach was probably robbed of a well earned victory... ”
