“The Daggerz came up against a solid Joker's side who were well organised and ready to pounce on any errors. The Daggerz kicked and were immediately pushed back. TNT Tommy finally delivered 1 well placed bomb which knocked down 3 of the opposition but also a Goblin........ The home side controlled the ball well and went about despatching the Daggerz. The Joker's crossed for a score before the end of the 1st half which forced Lord Dutch and Buzz to take to the field for 1 turn!!!!! The weapons drew a blank and the half ended on Lord Dutch smacking himself in the face with his ball!!

The second half saw the Daggerz catch the ball and close ranks. Ernie broke away down the wing and into open space. The highlight for the Daggerz was a pickup and 3 dodges which broke through the Joker's lines. The ball was hurled into the air but fumbled by Ernie. This saw the home side retreat to make up ground. The gobbos gathered their resolve again and blitzed Ernie free to make the pickup and cross the line to equal the score.

With a lot of time left in the game and the Daggerz numbers depleted, the Joker's gathered the ball and pushed for the line to score in the final turn.

A great game against a great coach with a consolation score for the Daggerz and another blank for the weapons....the streak continues!!!”
