Coach lemf beat my ass for 13 turns, pulling off normal elfy-antics while my forlorn bastards were a disgrace to the Great Houses of the Landsraad. I made a stupid mistake early when I leaped instead of just dodging because I failed to count the spaces to the ballcarrier. Then I compounded the error when I attempted a hand off instead of just holding onto the ball. Lemf made me pay dearly for both mistakes, then nuffle intervened and just refused to allow me to do anything. Lemf scored both his TDs in the first half, I scored both of mine in the 2nd half. The tying score was a Long Pass from Paul Muad'dib to Beast Rabban. However, I nearly cost myself the game when I failed to let Gurney take a dive on T16 and Lemf pushed Jordell Freshbreeze into scoring range. Fortunately for us, he refused to catch the accurate pass and the game ended. I really hate that elf, but it was the second time in the game that he let coach lemf down so I guess I can't hate him too much.

Neither team came away unscathed, though the Dune crew gained a replacement on the field and can afford to replace Thufir.

Thanks for the game, lemf. You played the better game, and probably should have won. I may have had the bad luck longer, but in the end it evened out on just 2 plays. Good luck filling your grid.

Update: I call foul, sir! You have always played me drunk in the past, I see no reason for that tradition to change just because you were in Texas :)

Update 2: Going back through my match reports, I noticed this was the first time (and only time in 38 games) that I have given up 2+ TDs and not lost. Surely that is improvement :)”
