“This was another match spent largely chasing shadows and our 4th in a row without a td but the Ogres did wake up late in the match to cause some hurt to the Elves.
It started with us hitting the los and knocking down the Treeman Albero. It got up, was rooted and promptly ko'd for the rest of the match by a big Jim Breaks hit. Kendo picked up but however after that we were looking a bit dumb and some snots were picked off early, including an injury to an exposed Lord Lucan and then a rip to another.
Kendo and his cohorts moved to a flank and the Elves started to slow us down. We couldn't hurt them but the endzone was coming into Kendo's sights. Alas Ammazzo the Wardancer leaped in and stripped the ball from the Ogre. We couldn't recover it and an Elf thrower snatched it up and got it to a catcher in safety. A comfortable 1-0 at half time for Elfbuffi but a good hit by Kendo and a foul (with bribe) from Bicep did at least leave two linos badly hurt.
2nd half the Elves scored with ease as they spread around the pitch. This wasn't helped by placing a couple of snots 1 square off the los and then losing them both to a quick snap and two ko hits.
The Ogres were now angry and caused 2 casualties on kick off. The remaining Elves fled and Kendo again had a chance for a consolation td. However he rushed near the end and snaked onto the floor! So in the end an easy 2-0 for the Elves though they take a few bruises. Bulldog gained mvp for a cas on his debut.”
