The Pillars were thirsty for revenge after a loss in their very first game against the Lahmia and the noticeable injury to one of our blitzer (-ST) it was payback time!
Right after a kick deep behind pillars' backs it began with 3 hard hits sending 3 zombies back to their bench (KO, BH regen and SI). 11 against 8 made the first half easier for the pillars. The ghouls tried to attack the ball carrier from the back but the pillars took advantage of their number to open up the center of the field and run forward. Thôt tot tot ran to the endzone turn 6 with the ghouls on his trail.
Three turns to hold, come on pillars! Every undead getting in the reach of the endzone got powed or tackled and it hold!
Second half, pitch invasion 3 players of each team stunned, more space for the undead to run. But the pillars were ready to fight and Faops (undead mummy) injured himself (SI) trying to block Masson (skelly). To balance the number of players the Lhamia united began to hit, hit and hit, finally they openned a breach in the line of pillars and ran through turn 4. Sukla the Stealther was in sight of the endzone when a lightning stroke him stunned giving time to Masson and Anubisis to come around the ball. Then a violent fight took place around the ball to get hold of it. Thôt tot tot thought he had it turn 6 but then Max Schüsser helped by a ghoul killed him to get hold of it and falled stunned 2 steps later snaked. In the end the undead didn't have time to properly get hold of the ball despite their numeric superiority (9 vs 6) and the score remained.
Quite an intense game, regeneration saved lots of cracked bones today and still many won't make it home tonight!
Thanks again SzieberthAdam! and thanks nuffle for the help here and there :)”
