The hunt for a ma11 rat ended, as our oneturner got crippled.
Was expected as we have half the numbers of what would be expected to protect 4 Gutters.
Nevertheless, the other ma10 Gutter took esponsibility, and got his sprint.
Needless to say, the old oneturner was weighed and found lacking.
Also started loading up on linos for future protection.
Wonder how the game had gone, if the RO hadnt taken a trip to the KO box in the start.

These rats are scary because or their speed. The coach has chosen to skip blitzers and the CPOMB they can bring in favor of M10 sprint gutter runners. He has been able to keep the team's TV very low and skip and as such avoid some big hitters. I am sure that the rats run up the score on many developing teams.
The problem they face is that their line rat fodder dissapears very quickly when they face a team with a handfull of mighty blow. They cannot reliably dodge away due to their average agility. Add the fact that they are mostly loners and you are in even bigger trouble.
Once most of the fodder was out the concentration turned to pummeling the gutter runners. This match was very painful as the kicker and a line rat will miss the next game, but more importantly the one turner just took a decrease in movement. One has to wonder if his playing days are over.
