During this the Chainsaw had killed a sidestepping skink before he was banned, but other than that all players showed up for the 2nd half kick.
A good Nurglander first turn ended with Both-Down on the last block, and the skinks lost no time in penetrating deep and recovering the unguarded ball, and marking every nearby player. The Nurglanders answered with a GFI for the assist and a 3+ dodge Blitz that RR'd 3 Pushes to a Pow, and again a ruck ensued. But this time the sauri were screened far from the play, and instead of a stalemate the remaining 4 skinks started leaving the contest, one way or another. One (trip) at the very end of Turn 1, 1 on that Turn 2 Blitz, a third on Turn 3 (along with a Saurus on the other side of the field!), and the last to start the Nurglander's Turn 4. With that, and no RR's remaining, they picked up the rainslick ball on the sideline, and marched most of the field for the winning score, not failing a single of many blocks on the way.
If the dice hadn't decided that the skinks should leave, if the 2nd half blocks hadn't gone painlessly, the game would probably have ended scoreless.
