“3rd game for the Gents with Horns see them face some hyper-mobile Slann. For the first time the Gents will be kicking in the first half and receive in the second.
Right from the start the Slann give proof of their mobility. Through the centre, to the right, back to centre, breakout to the left. The first gents started getting confused, and the Slann took advantage of this. Touchdown in turn 6, but down by numbers due to unlucky KO-recov. rolls. The Gents prepare for the kick-off by putting their strongest and meanest guys to the line of scrimmage. Some happy bashing starts but the gents move the ball to and manage to keep the Slann's numbers down, plus scoring for the equalizer right before the ref ends the first half.

2nd half sees a mid-long kick to the left side, the Slann are down by almost 2:1 and the Gents start feeling sure of victory. Too sure. The first block on the LoS ends in a both down, and the Slann try to get next to the ball. They succeed but can't get yards between their ball carrier and the Beastmen and Chaos Warrior. Another bash and the ball is loose again. But the price is high, as the Gents have spent all of their Re-Rolls early and theirfore cannot support their final attempt(s) for the victory. Blocks end in turnovers, pick-ups and passes fail and finally a catch misses too. The last turn, the Slann have given up their attempt to get to the ball and accepted, that the Gents can only stop themselves from winning, a Beastman tries to pick-up the ball and run into the endzone, but fails again with the first step.

Finally a fair draw, with nuffle pleasing both coaches with huge winnings. ”
