Turn 1, a dropped Aggroes pickup opened the door for some early backfield pressure from the Tigers, but an Ag 5 pass swung 8 Aggroes around the entire defense, well screened and half-way to the goal. 2 turns later some questionable coaching decisions and continued pressure encouraged a Turn 4 score.
All 3 KO's (2 Tiger, 1 Aggro) woke for the Turn 4 kickoff, and a kick centered in the Tiger's backfield was slightly offset by a Blitz result. But if the LoS became more defense-favoured, any Aggroes' backfield pressure was cut short by a RR'd gfi, which used their last RR with the Tigers still boasting 4 for the next 5 turns. However, altho' the Tigers re-claimed the LoS, the dice bit the Tigers hard with a snaked Ag 4 Sure Hands pickup, and soon 4 Aggroes screened a 5th with the ball against one down Tiger rookie lino, having KO'd the Tiger QB. Skulls used the Tiger RR early, and a failed gfi for the 2d blitz opened the door for the Turn 6 defensive score, 2-0 (but not before the Aggro Pomber (finally) Cas'd a Tiger, a rookie lino MNG).
The Tiger's QB woke up for the Turn 6 kick, which was met with Perfect Defense, but 3 Tigers still managed to sneak past, 2 into scoring range. The Aggroes failed a dodge before any blocks could be thrown, but Tiger Skulls RR'd to Pushes failed to clear a safe passing lane, and the Tigers chose to maneuver until Turn 8, rather than risk the Int or face a Turn 8 LoS. The Aggroes double-marked 2 deep players and took down the 3rd, a Catcher, but an astute sideline chain-push and offensive sidestepping reduced the defense enough for the Tigers' score - 2-1 Aggroes at the half, with the Tigers receiving next.
Turn 9, The Tigers caged up centered on their LoS, and the Aggroes responded by attempting to surround and pressure, cas'ing another rookie lino. The remaining 9 Tigers started Turn 10 with a successful 1d block that broke the balance, and then with 3 Dodges squeaked the ballcarrier (a Blodger w/ Dump Off) out with another NoS Catcher in support, both in scoring range. The Aggroes blitzed for a Pow but could not pickup. The Tigers answered in kind but recovered on the 4, but after a successful 1d block to free additional support they snaked the Dodge, leaving the same 2 players to face many more opponents. On the Aggroes' turn the Tigers' ballcarrier was threatened with a surf but successfully dumped off before it succeeded, now a lone rookie Tiger Catcher on the 5 yard line surrounded by 5 Aggroes.
Turn 11 the Tigers, by now down to 7 players v. 11, had to risk a NoS Pass out of that traffic, but a lucky defensive 6 spelled Interception and the end of that tying drive. A Tiger Wrestler responded with a 1d both-down to pop the ball loose Turn 13, and next turn a blitzer dodged into the midfield cage and had had a chance but RR'd the 1d to a skull, ending the last real challenges as more Tigers were sent off the field, and the Aggroes had ample numbers and time to both cage and screen for the final score.
The Tigers didn't have terrible dice, but the bad dice they saw could not have come at much worse times, while the Aggroes were able to answer the worst of their dice w/ RR's and work around the rest while benefiting from the Tigers' bad luck, and meanwhile steadily took their toll on AV 7 - and that was the game.”
