“Up against the infamous Smallkosp it was never going to be easy but there were moments in the first half things almost went our way, but they quickly turned and went very wrong.

We went for a quick flank move with Jesiah scoring early. Heinrik "The Stonemason" caused a cas with his first hit but that was where our strength stopped.
On the return we withstood a few hits but then the Chaos scum started hitting hard and ko'ing our fine players. Splat the goblin went forward with only one marauder in support. Here was our chance! Our loner dodged into tackle range and Jesiah followed. He stumbled along but finished his blitz by flinging the gobbo to the floor. The crowd held the breath at the sight of glory..But no! The one marauder near the ball had the luck to see the ball bounce up at him and somehow he made the (6+) catch under pressure! We sent more players over in support but Stave tripped and was ko'd. More Chaos joined the maul and Talent (who now had the ball) decided to bash where he stood. He got away, but just as it seemed there may be another chance to get at him Wilhelmus started the turn with a shocking failed dodge. Things looked doomed as Topis was injured and Smallkosp scored.

Next half stave was injured, with the apo declaring him dead, straight off. Our players seemed dazed and failed dodge after dodge with Jesiah also ballsing up easy moves twice despite team training! In the end the marauders had an easy time of it but they still fumbled the ball around and one just managed to get the ball over for the winner before the end of the match.

Jesiah proved he can throw at least a bit today as he went from 1 to 3 career completions.
