#9 Bruhathkayosaurus – Broken Neck (-AG)
XFL

Very close game despite the final 1-3.

First half I didn't manage to protect the ball properly so it was 3 saurus out and 0-1 at halftime but I had 11 players for 2nd half.

Chaqua Bulls managed to score 0-2 in their turn 3 in 2nd half with some luck.

I did a fast reply to 1-2 BUT the important thing was that my lizards were furious and hit dead hard. Morg and Slibli did 3 cas together. So there were only 7 from Chaqua Bulls for the last drive. And I was THIS close of getting it to OT. But a blodging saurus did a brave dodge, some gfi, blitzed my ballcarrier and the ag4 from Chaqua Bulls managed to rush and punt deep in my field. I didn't manage to get it back from there.

Fun, tight game. I had the iron-fists, and SkavenLordVinshqueek´s skinks didn't fail any of the game-deciding dodges. I didn't expect to have a chance before the game with the huge tv-difference but fun that it was a close one!

Edit: SkavenLordVinshqueek added to friendlist, being a great and chatty opponent.

#3 Boqzlat of the Golden Tower of the Gods – Fractured Arm (MNG)
#11 Tenqtza of Tlaqua – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
#12 Xluax of Tlaxtlan – Fractured Leg (MNG)
The first half was indeed the game of waiting and watching, with your only real error being the non-sidestep Skink in a position where I could chainpush my way towards a 2-die blitz. Luckily, that didn't cause any hard damage, but did result in the ball being wide open for my Skinks, with the following two/ three blocks (both KOs, if I recall correctly) taking your numbers down a bit, and Morg being kept up by my Kroxigor and Slibili-lookalike.

At that point, I had lost (just) two guys, but in the move towards a 2-0 lead, the number difference went down towards seven guys for me, to ten/eleven for Dhaktoth. That worried me, especially with the lack in options for positioning, which lead to a relatively easy 2-1, with four turns left in the second half.

The eventual thing that was a REALLY lucky shot was a 5+ dodge by a Saurus, followed by a (re-rolled) hit, meant the ball was in front of my AG4 Skink, who managed to dodge through opponents and passed the ball towards the endzone of Dhaktoth, far out of the way to get to a 2-2 without some funky dice.

All in all, a game that was decided in single turns and was far from a walk-over. For those who watch the re-match, certainly some entertaining moments to sit through. ;)

Thanks for the game, and I'll see you around for a re-match some day...
