The Coat Tails remain unbeaten here but probably should have put a score on the board after extremely favourable blocking dice in the first half. A harsh referee and some extremely undisciplined slaves ensured that the ejection box was rammed full by the end of the first half.
Starting the second half at 7 rats each, it looked pretty bad for the Coat Tails: the Ratlings had superior speed. Our fans smashed the ref to pieces for his over-enthusiastic refereeing. In the end, the Coat Tails played a brutal defensive game against a well-worked attack. The ball sat deep in the Coat Tails' half for much of the drive, but the Ratlings were prevented from getting a good run on the end zone. A last gasp touchdown attempt for the Coat Tails, made after reducing the Ratlings to just two remaining vermin, ended in disappointment as slave Chelford dropped the ball.
Can't wait for these two to take to the pitch again.
