“my wolf managed to get the ball of my opponent in his receiving half after a crafty hand of by a zombie. Having most of my opponents concentrated at one side of the pitch, tied up by a wall of zombies, he decided to bolt for the finish line. In the next turn my opponent managed with a bit of skill and a bit of lucky dodging get quite a few of his elves within blitzing range. I was 10 squares away from a touchdown.

Eight squares down.. first GFI.. 1.. reroll.. next GFI 1. Broken armour. Badly hurt. Regen fails. Wolf out of the game, opponent casually picks up the ball and strolls down the length of the pitch to score. That obviously ruined my whole game.

I did, however, acquire the star player Wilhelm Chaney, and by some chance I still managed to be 10 squares away from the line in the 8th turn, and clear a path. Just a stroll down... until the GFI failed...

Next half.. just need the 3+ dodge to equalise... fail.. reroll... failed.

I hate this game sometimes.”
