The fans were made to wait but were rewarded with a cracking game of Blood Bowl.
The "man" of the match was on the losing side. Orc troll Big Bad Jim had a blinder, breaking 2 beastmen and knocking out a few more. He was even the last line of defense in the 1st half after the pesky agile beastmen passed the ball a full half to a chaos warrior. Jim tried to impede him but couldn't quite stop the touchdown.
Moments earlier it could have been very different. Aztec sprinted clear after stealing on defense. The legendary blitzer slipped as he entered the endzone, with the agile beastman only just still in range of the spilled ball.
The slip proved critical, as a woozy Coach Chainsaw gave rather poor instructions in the 2nd half drive which left an unnecessary chance to sack Aztec who was poised ready to score. Frantic arm waving by Coach Zakatan led to a mistake, meaning a warrior had to take the 'Saws icon on in a one on one but was still successful. When that agile beatsman dashed in to punt clear and seal victory, it earned itself a place on the 'Saws hit list.
