The steal in the first half was a big turning point in the game - If my Ghoul hadn't rolled a 1 when going for it, then it might have been a different game.
In the end, the Scented Candles deserved the win and are a very tough, solid team to play against.

The Candles managed to steal the ball mid first half despite the Nutters' great pockets.
The second half started with a blitz, where the lone wolf was accidentally placed too close to the sideline. That ended up being quite good, as the orc thrower forgot how to pick up the ball for 3 turns. (1&1, 2&1, 1&4). Finally on his 6th try, he managed to grab it and toss it to the star blitzer. Things got a little #dicey on the way back up the field, but the orcs were confident, having scored defensively.
As I said ingame, the dice were a bit dodgy today on both sides. 1s and double skulls were running all over the place.”
