3rd Round game

Once again I gave away 1000K in inducements which saw me up against a handful of stars and the usual wiz. I was quite thankful that Garnak took helmut because he only ever lasts one turn or so, especially with a POMBer to hit him with. I took him out on my T1, and Garnak struck back with a no assist foul which BH'd my POMBer.....I burned my apoth to keep her in the game.

I forced Garnak to score early, and made him fire the wiz in the 1st half, although the lightning bolt was spot on and smashed my star catcher into retirement.

The 2nd half saw Garnak light on players, and I made sure it stayed that way by kicking his teeth in. I ground & pounded my way to the equaliser and in OT Garnak received with only 5 players left. He tried the old switcheroo on me, but my mobility was enough to stop what little chance he had and I cleared the pitch as I took the TD and the victory!

Now into the semi final match, and I won't be giving away anywhere near as much in inducements! 1 million GC's per match is a lot to cope with, but my booty girls have stood fast. How will they fare giving away only 400K?”
