Still I managed to make life pretty miserable for him in the first half, I even got hold of the ball and wanted to throw a long pass deep into his own half. His faster players were either down or deep in my half so I figured that my faster beasts wqould be able to pick it up at best or at least prevent him from scoring.

It was not to be; he fumbled the ball. He blitzed my warrior KO (he stayed KO for the entire match!) and got the ball but I was able to blitz him with a warrior. 2 dice. Plus re roll. Which was not good enough to knock him down. (oi? anyone want to do the odds for this?)

So his first touchdown was a beauty of Nuffle crapping on me. His second slightly less so. His fans did not like it either. ;-) Scumtear, the Minotaur, was very busy being flatulent and not much else. He failed on two occasions when I really needed his muscle. Fickle dice gods. ;

On the other hand; it was supposed to be a recovery game for me and I recovered. Both players with a miss are back including the soon-to-be retired niggler.

Plus I can even buy a fresh beast-fodder.

But all in all; if you can score only one casualty and one completion in a match something is off.
