“After an utterly banal first turn from both sides, things heated up very quickly, with a lot of rough back-and-forth action.

Turn 2 saw the Krox Badly Hurt by an angry mummy.
The lizards responded by KO'ing 2 zombies.
The Undead responded in turn by removing a skink.
The lizards replied with a wry series of chain-pushes which allowed a lucky blitz on the ball-wight, and a very lucky (and welcome) MNG injury.
With their drive halted, the Undead went down fighting, and the mummy (the same angry one) immediately were revenged by giving our best Blitzer -AG.
Things devolved into a bloody mess, soon after, with zombie parts flying everywhere, we were able to grab the ball and score. On account of some very lackluster regeneration rolls, the Lizards–– though undermanned at that point–– were able to break through the Undead defense in the second half and smash their way to a win.

In the end, it was a pretty dicey affair, although it was a welcome respite from the horrors of the Roughriders' previous match.”
