The Devils, lead on to the field by Jim, came into the game as favourites. With 2 star blitzers with potential to learn a train up in a new skill after the game, the touchdown was nonchalantly scored with time on the clock in the 1st half.

DaCoach's Coldbloods were not there just to make up the numbers though and made a mockery of the human defense, scoring with ease! There were stern words at half time, a far better showing required for the 2nd half and it came. The hits started to get a bit harder and the rookie sauri were struggling to contain Goldberg and Man at Arms. The ball was briefly on the floor but Swimma recovered to make it 2-1 to the Coldbloods. However, the star skink was at fault as his slip made the equalizer easy and we went to overtime with the Devils fortunately receiving.

I think by this point a number of Devils players had lost monies on bets on the outcome of the game being decided by this point, and they angrily tore into the Coldbloods as casualties and knockouts really began to flow. DaCoach was powerless as his team capitulated under the heavy blocks and the tight tactical game that had occupied regulation time evaporated as the humans bashed their way to the winner.
