There was a bit of lack of common language, but I think the main reason for the concession was that they were running low on players, was pretty much blocked from scoring, had used up their Apo, and we still had every important player ready to take our turn in second half.
So, all in all a pretty valid concession, I'd say. Just being beaten up for a lost cause isn't much fun, for either of the involved players.
