“6 players to start with in second half.. droping down to 3 players... I think I stood up well considering the low number of players I had on the field.. An my best player with 78SPP didnĀ“t manage to ignore his niggli injurie that he got on his latest skill roll!!! =(”
“Well; I had some spectacular good luck and bad luck in this game.
To start with the good luck; his star player niggled this match. Nice. I had a handicap removing another one of his players. Nice. I was pretty lucky knocking down his blodging ghouls without tackle. Even nicer.
Not so nice; my Minotaur stood around failing 4 wild animal rolls (wasting 3 blitzes so 2+!!!) in a row. had he done something I might have scored the first half too.
The second half he blitzed, rolled double-skulls and KO'd himself vs a skeleton.
A third not so nice was the serious injury for my most skilled warrior with block and guard.
A fourth not so nice was the second skill roll for a warrior earning his second skill. He aged and lost a movement. Bah. I only keep him because he rolled a double. That and the fact that I retired a new niggled beast. (5th not so nice) and will retire soon my niggled beast with kick. I'd like to be able to field 11 so I gave him claw and made him a target for my opponent to hunt. Better a ST4 warrior with AV9 and a movement drop than another player.
In the end I scored so looking at the result I am not all that unhappy.
