“Welp, two matches vs. the Fruit Ninja's and they both went pretty much the same.
Game 1: Ninja's cas my entire LOS on T1 and ride the massive player adv to an easy win, racking up numerous cas and KOs. Wasn't even a match really.
Game 2: Shadowcloaks receive this time and...do absolutely nothing vs. AV6. Two Ninja first half KOs are recovered, I went 1 for 5 on KO rolls. Vs. a player of Jokaero's caliber you simply cannot compete without moderately even dice and it just didn't happen. In 32 turns vs. the Ninja's I managed a single cas, and none in game 2. The Ninja's five straight fouls (seven total) after they got the player adv (again, due to sick inj/cas dice effectiveness) without a single ejection was just another roadblock between the Shadowcloaks and any prayer of success.
Truly, I had the better team going into this...double the diving tackle, a Tackler, and a spare AG4 player. But none of that matters if you simply can't get anyone off the pitch. His Eshin armor was nigh unbreakable and mine...wasn't.
Kudos to Jokaero for playing a stellar match. He plays a mean positioning game and doesn't give up any free hits. Without a bit of Nuffle love this was going to be a tough match. As it was, Jokaero cruises to the second round.
I predict the EC will be won by the winner of the semi-final Fruit Ninja v Skogsfinnar match.”
