“A big win in the end for the Raiders after a fun match, but it was looking messy at half-time.
We started with Snutz handing off to Zloos who got a quick TD down the flank. One snot taken out in the drive. Then Graguh the agile Ogre started their return by picking up the ball and a linerat being cas'd. As the Ogre got dumb we tried to get at him but could not bring the fella down with a couple of attempts. We were struggling to do much other than ko snots and were losing players ourself including key blitzer Ritz Ditz badly hurt by a snot foul. As the Ogre carrier ventured up the flank Krikit and Snutz finally got him down. Soon after Snutz saw a chance to dodge through and maybe get the ball over to a teammate before half time. But he fell on the ball and it scattered into the crowd. A fan threw it out to Kriikal who amazingly plucked it out of the air before jogging over the endzone for a last second TD. Amazing stuff.
Second half though we blitzed forward from kick off and Zloos took up the ball. It was soon 2-1. Talus injuring himself in a dodge being the only blemish. A great Snutz blitz on an ogre next drive again got us the ball for 3-1 and then another blitz kickoff followed by good dodging by Snutz made it 4-1 with a big difference in our two half performances. Good game and good spirited opponent. ”
