“First up a big sorry to all you regular readers of Hoof and Herd magizine...a few days late with this column but this reporter was caught up in a celebration the likes of which have never been seen amongst this young clubhouse. And why wouldn't there be a party! The most brutal and comprehensive win these goatees have ever put on!
The game plan from the outset was painfully simple...delivered pre-match by the GREAT UNSEEN himself "BEAT THEM...BEAT THEM BAD...OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES" Stirring stuff from the Shadow Void! From the opening drive it was clear the message had gotten through loud and clear. By turn 2 the injured box had 3 badly hurt rats in there including a gutter runner. MorningSongs run up the sideline was mostly overlooked as everyone went the biff. The Sewer boys played valiently...constantly finding a way to disposses the ball..but weight of numbers was too much to clear it. The Crowes blood lust was such that a chance to score a TD was overlooked in T 8 to launch a last attack on the rats...but with 4 now out we liked our chances of over running them in the 2nd half.
Sure enough the Skaven had to chance a risky break early but a huge hit in the back field cleared the ball and it was off to the races. Along the way 2 RIPs were inflicted (one saved by a vastly overworked Apoth) and BlackBerry earned his MVP with a TD, and with that, a famous victory!
Add to that a FF increase and 90k (enough to secure another CW) and this team is looking the goods!
Now sitting #2 on the ladder and playing #1 to end the season against a huge Dwarf outfit...this is a season to remember!!! ”
