“in my joy of kicking some ass i got a little carried away and truly underestimated the power of the elves blitzers and one of catchers.
losening up the cage in my last drive way to early was a big mistake and cost me the game. feeling a bit ashamed, with a numerical advantage like that you really should win. but as long as i dont learn not to break the cage to early these thing will happen again.
*must learn self control, dont open cage to early, must learn self control...*
i ve got a sneakin suspicion that all those knocked out guys really went up to the stands, infiltrating the crowds and whipping them into a frenzy. that would explain the messy and totally unnecessary death of poor amerion. that and my lousy winning are my only disappointments in this game. how come i always seem to roll a 1?
besides that, hope to meet you again in the field borderline, you made me fight for every inch of ground without any foul tactics, the mark of a good coach.”
“That was a pretty darn close game. I was slightly worried when the handicap came up "Mickey Finn". I got even more worried when my players started leaving the field in a hurry, either hurt or KO'd (and not coming back...). I was trying to think happy thoughts in order to keep the RIP box empty. Happy thoughts...happy thoughts... And then the flashy High Elves score. 0-1in score, worse in players. That was the first half. The second half was another story. This is where the Awful Truth showed why there's something special about being the underdog. The only two remaining key players, Nechropa and Incursion, made a few massive plays. That was all that was needed. Also, the crowd started getting irritated at the silver badges and general fanciness of the High Elves and tossed two stones. One resulted in a badly hurt...the other killed poor lineman Amerion on the last turn of the game, right after the winning 2-1 TD. To add insult to injury.
All in all a pretty cool game with a very cool opponent. ”
