#7 Anklebite Rott – Dead (RIP)
The Decay's second game couldn't have been more different to their first. A game against the Dwarf team "Moria's Warriors", saw them facing a tough side whose formidable lineup was definitely a threat to the Rotters.

The initial kick off saw the Nurgle team receive the inevitable bashing from the Dwarfs, with almost all of the team having to roll over or stand up at the start of each turn. Four turns of thumping and blocking saw the Dwarfs make a break for the endzone. The beastmen responded, but despite their best efforts, failed to stop Dwarf runner Fili charging over the line for the first touchdown.

The following kick off saw the Decay attempting to use their running advantage to score, however they were halted quite swiftly after failing to handoff the ball and then dodge; a task that the dwarfs managed in the following turn without error, allowing Kili to score a second for the Warriors.

The second half saw the Decay receive the ball, but once again drop it during a handoff move. A few more turns of blocking, fumbling the ball and more blocking, resulted in Balin retreiving the ball and blitzing Anklebite Rott, who literally exploded with the force of the impact. The disease that these beastmen carry does make their bodies a bit "squidgy"...

A simple lack of numbers meant that the final few turns saw the Decay's thin defences overrun, allowing Kili to carry the ball into the endzone for the Warrior's third touchdown.

A challenging game from a good opponent. I was surprised how agile the Dwarfs were. When I used them in an old team, their agility was my downfall, but these seemed quite happy to flaunt their skills. : )
Thanks for the game, I think I'll avoid Dwarfs until I get some more strength in my team.
