“Second try with Skaven for me. This time I bought an apo right from the start and he served me well.
Started as Offence and it took a while until I breaked free from the beastmen who were putting no pressure on the ball carrier but on my GRs and potential scorers. 1 : 0 in the fourth drive, plenty of time for an equalizer.Obviously my humble opp forgot about the time that was running out and I managed to take the lead into the cabins. Setup for the second half started with two beastmen as well as an equal number of Skaven koed. I couldn't believe all my luck with the armor rolls, when a Pitch Invasion took me down to five players on the field with just two players standing. Without problems the Beastmen scored the equalizer, it would have been difficult to botch it ;)
Well, just two players wanted to get out of the KO box and I was down to six players and miraciously scored in the sixth drive with some desperate plays and 3d blocks against my ball carrying GR in the sixth drive. As my koed Ratmen still refused to re-enter the pitch, I couldn't prevent another TD by the Besties.
To sum it up, I should be happy not to have lost the game at all.
