“Our squigs were just out of control today. Alternating between stupid and hungry while things made worse as the gobbos went off the pitch.
A blitz fail by Big King during our first drive made a mess of things while players were ko'd and badly hurt on both sides. Roast Beef, the extra armed Halfling got the ball and Hellmouth couldn't bring him down on the one chance we had to take him out. The Chaos Halfling then just managed to get through to score. Devil though had ripped apart the rookie Chaos Spawn.
We had some time to respond but a Cheaters fan hurled a rock so hard that the gobbo right next to the kicked ball was killed by it! We couldn't score. The halflings started laying in the boot through the 2nd half. Second half after a pitch invasion Big King tried to pressure the carrier but our dumb squigs didn't cover him and Dogbert the spawn bashed him down, ko'ing him. Things looked bad but through our leaping Devil hurt the carrier and Hardest Nutz got the ball. An equalizer looked on the cards but the squigs again couldn't think straight to cover him and he was smashed down. Before the halflings made it 2-0 they had hurt more of ours and got more players banned (5 sent off) so there was just 3 of them and 2 of us on the pitch. In our final brief moments to receive we got another badly hurt and stuck boots in for a kill.
Fun but tough match. Herdy who played 0 turns and was killed by a rock got our MVP!”
