“An good start of the season. We started with receiving, and had few troubles scoring our offensive TD. Knocked two blended men out, and Antonella made a quick pass to Giovanna for the TD with about half of the half left. The Blended men then scored with a brilliant long bomb from their thrower as we had chosen to put pressure on the thrower, rather than cover the scorers. The crowd turned wild over the long bomb, and a lengthy Riot prevented us from scoring once more in the first half. Second half we kicked, and got more and more desperate as the Blended men knocked out our players one by one. However, a somewhat optimistic placement of the ballcarrier allowed us a scoring chance as we dumped the ballcarrier on his ass and Annalisa grabbed the loose ball. However, With 6 players against 8, they soon recovered the ball, and could have scored in the final Seconds, if not for a failed step by their catcher just before throwing the ball to a liner inscoring position.

Il Brute needs to train more on his Piling On, but both Annalisa (kick) and Giovanna (Block) developed their game and will now be much more useful :) We look forward to this season :)

Also grats to the new team. They played well, and the long bomb from their thrower was definitely the big moment of the match :)
