This game could have ended in Overtime but I made a positioning error which allowed an open lane to the endzone. It took a -2die blitz, a gfi, a 4+ catch, and a 5+ dodge plus another gfi, but Nerdbird managed all that with only 1 reroll. Still, it's my own fault for even making it possible. Then in OT the Steelers pulled off another unlikely blitz because I didn't sidestep to a square that would have forced 2 gfis instead of only 1. A 1 die blitz with no rerolls netted a Tackle/Pow and the ball went out of bounds. Luckily it went closer to my scoring endzone and the wight failed his next dodge when he tried to go for a pass. Lady Jessica was tired of waiting for Chani to score and took matters into her own hands. Phew.

Close game, and well played, NerdBird. If only Hines Ward had your 'never say die' attitude.”
